Membership of IRAA-SA is open to all who have an interest in the industry. Membership falls into 4 categories.

Active Members

Members who are graduates of a recognised training program and who are active in the field of the industrial rope access or fall arrest. Members of the Association prior to 1st June 2008 and who are not in default shall continue to enjoy this status irrespective of academic qualifications and shall be known as “Founding Members”.

Inactive Members

Members who are graduates of a recognised training program and who are not presently active in the field of the industrial rope access or fall arrest. Active members become inactive after 12 months of no participation or on expiry of their “License to Practice”

Affiliate Members

Affiliate Members shall be persons interested in the industrial rope access and fall arrest industries and shall include employers.

Student Members

Student Members shall be persons undergoing training and who are interested in the industrial rope access and fall arrest industries.

Joining IRAA-SA is completely free of charge at present. To join:

Fill in an Application for Membership
Attach a copy of your ID book or Drivers Licence to the application
Attach a ID size (Head & shoulders) photo of yourself to the application
Send the completed application to:

IRAA-SA does not presently charge membership fees; however the Association does have running expenses, so we ask those that can afford to, to make a small donation towards the administration costs of the Association. Contact us for banking details.
